Printer is an on-device utility for preparing and printing documents and photos through Apple AirPrint. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information. In short: Printer does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. Everything you do in the app stays on your device unless you explicitly choose to print or share a file.

Information we collect

None. Printer has no user accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics, advertising, or tracking software. We do not operate servers that receive your data, and the app does not send your documents, photos, contacts, or usage information to us or to any third party.

How your content is handled

• Documents, photos, scans, and files you import or create are stored locally on your device so the app can show, edit, and print them.
• All processing — scanning, editing, compression, format conversion, text recognition, background removal, and PDF tools — happens entirely on your device.
• When you print, the file is sent directly from your device to the AirPrint printer you select on your local network. It does not pass through us.
• When you share a file, it is handled by the standard iOS share sheet and goes only where you direct it.

Device permissions

Printer requests these permissions only to power specific features, and only when you use them:

• Camera — to scan paper documents into PDFs.
• Photos — to import photos you want to edit or print, and to save exported files you choose to keep.
• Contacts — to turn a contact you pick into a printable page.
• Local Network — to discover and connect to AirPrint printers on your Wi-Fi network.

Data accessed through these permissions is used only for the feature you invoked and is not collected or transmitted off your device.

Third parties

Printer does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs and does not share data with third parties. Printing and sharing rely on Apple's own system frameworks (AirPrint and the iOS share sheet).

Children's privacy

Printer is rated 4+ and does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Data retention and deletion

Because your content stays on your device, you remain in control of it. Deleting a file in the app removes it from the app's storage, and removing the app deletes its local data.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and post the revised version at this address.
