Privacy Policy
This policy applies to the Sleep Tracker mobile app (the “app”), published by FREE MOBILE APPS STUDIO ONE MEMBER COMPANY LIMITED (“we”, “us”, or “our”). It explains what information is handled when you use the app and the choices you have.
Summary
- Audio is recorded only after you start a session, and is analyzed and stored only on your device.
- No account is required. We do not operate servers that receive your recordings or sleep data.
- Free users may see ads from Google Mobile Ads, subject to consent. Ad providers never receive your audio or sleep data.
- Apple processes purchases. We do not receive your payment-card details.
1. Recordings and on-device analysis
Sleep Tracker records sleep-related audio only after you start a session and grant microphone permission. Recordings, detected events, clips, scores, timelines, trends, tags you add (such as sleep position or caffeine), and report content are analyzed and stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers and are not shared with advertising providers. No account or cloud sync is required.
2. Permissions
Microphone is required to record audio during a sleep session. Notifications are optional and used for local bedtime and session reminders scheduled on your device. You can revoke either permission at any time in device Settings.
3. Advertising
Free users may see ads. Before ads are requested, the app uses Google's User Messaging Platform to collect consent where required by law. When an eligible placement is reached and your consent choices allow it, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may process device identifiers (such as the advertising identifier, if you permit tracking), IP address, device and network information, consent status, and ad-interaction data to serve, measure, and prevent fraud in ads. Google processes this information under its own Privacy Policy. The SDK does not receive your audio, detected events, sleep scores, or report content. Premium users do not receive ad requests.
4. Purchases
Premium is an optional in-app purchase processed by Apple. Apple provides us with transaction information needed to confirm and restore your purchase; Apple's handling of your payment information is governed by Apple's privacy policy. We do not receive your full payment-card details.
5. Information we do not collect
We do not ask for your name, email address, contacts, location, or health records, and we do not use analytics tools that track your use of the app. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, and we use it only to respond.
6. Sharing and legal disclosures
We do not sell your personal information or the content you create in Sleep Tracker. Information may be processed by the providers described above only as needed to provide advertising, process purchases, or comply with law. We may disclose information we hold when reasonably necessary to respond to lawful requests, protect rights or safety, or prevent fraud and abuse.
7. Retention and security
Local data stays on your device until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app, subject to your device's backup settings (for example, iCloud device backups). Support emails are kept only as long as needed to resolve your request and meet legal obligations. Service providers retain information according to their own policies. The app relies on your device's built-in protections such as encryption and passcode; no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
8. International processing
We are based in Vietnam. Advertising and platform providers may process information in other countries and are responsible for applying appropriate safeguards where required by applicable law.
9. Your rights and choices
You can stop a recording at any time; delete individual nights or all app data in the app; revoke microphone and notification permissions in device Settings; respond to the consent prompt shown before ads where required; limit ad tracking through your device's privacy settings; or buy Premium to stop ad requests. Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR, California law, or Vietnam's personal data protection law), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to processing of personal information. Because we do not hold your recordings or sleep data, most of these rights are exercised directly on your device. 10. Children
Sleep Tracker is not directed to children under 13, or under the age of digital consent in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will help remove it.
11. Not a medical service
Sleep Tracker is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis or treatment. Sound data stays on your device and is not shared with healthcare providers.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app, its providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above shows the latest version, and material changes will be communicated where required by law.
