AC Remote Universal
Turn your phone into the remote for your air conditioner. Set temperature, mode, and fan speed from the phone in your pocket, with no account and no internet connection required to control the unit.
What it does
- Controls most major air-conditioner brands using a bundled infrared protocol database.
- Works with your phone built-in infrared emitter, or with a network bridge over HTTPS if your phone has none.
- Handles several rooms, each with its own unit profile and presets.
- Runs fully offline. Profiles and presets stay on the device, and Android backup is disabled.
- Requests only two permissions: internet, and infrared transmit.
Privacy at a glance
No accounts, no sign-in, and no personal identifiers. Anonymous usage analytics are on by default and can be switched off in Settings → Privacy → Usage analytics. The app is free and shows advertising from Google AdMob. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
